International Dialogue Projects

Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue works at the grassroots level to strengthen peace and democracy processes, in close collaboration with local and international partner organizations.

Internationally, Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue collaborates with local and international organizations and institutions. Courses and training are included as part of long-term collaborations and processes.

Dialogue training is part of this initiative. The NCPD’s dialogue handbook has been published in Norwegian, English, Spanish, and Mapudungun.

Projects abroad:

Chile | Dialogue and reconciliation

Since the riots in 2019 in Chile, Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue has worked for dialogue, with two main goals: to convey knowledge about dialogue and to create meeting places for dialogue. Nineteen universities are now preparing their own national network for knowledge and research on dialogue. Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue has also contributed with dialogue knowledge in Peru, Colombia, Brazil, and Venezuela.
