Courses and Workshops
The Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue develops courses based on our own and others' experiences with peace and dialogue work. The main course content focuses on dialogical principles and methods, conflict analysis and practical skills in dialogue facilitation.
Dialogue in Conflict
«Dialogue in Conflict» is an introductory course, addressing various topics that can contribute to transforming conflicts, including tools for communication and conflict analysis. This is a five-day process-oriented course with a series of exercises where the participants actively use their own life experiences.
“Dialogue facilitation” builds on the introductory course and consists of a number of topics and tools required to facilitate a dialogue. This is a five-day process-oriented course that addresses various aspects of the facilitator’s role. During this course you will have the opportunity to practice this role through role play, and to reflect on the many challenges a facilitator may face.
