Nansen Peace Center has developed its own methodology for three types of dialogue:
Dialogue in conflict
People's dialogue
Facilitation of dialogue
The dialogue courses offered by Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue are designed as a ladder with three levels – from beginner, through advanced, to expert.
Participants who choose to take dialogue courses at all three levels qualify for Training of Trainers – which provides the foundation to organize dialogue courses themselves and teach the Nansen Peace Center's dialogue methodology.

All participants in dialogue courses organized by the Nansen Peace Center are invited to join our global alumni network, Pockets of Peace. The goal of Pockets of Peace is to gather, connect, and nurture small and large pockets of peace in the world into a big and growing dialogue community.

Dialogue
Dialogue is a process of genuine interaction through which human beings listen to each other deeply enough to be changed by what they learn. Each makes a serious effort to take others’ concerns into her or his own picture, even when disagreement persists. No participants gives up her or his identity, but each recognizes enough of the other’s valid human claims that he or she will act differently toward the other.
