Anita is director at the NCPD. She was previously a project manager for a NORAD-supported program strengthening vocational schools in Angola, and she has also been the general manager of the preventive program Healthy Sports. She has organized elite sports for the Olympic Committee and the Norwegian Soccer Association, and was a top soccer player. Anita holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Oakland University in the U.S, and a master's degree from the University of Oslo, conducting her fieldwork on development cooperation in Zambia.

Astrid Folkedal Kraidy

Astrid works with dialogue processes and trainings, she facilitates dialogues, holds workshops and coordinates events. She also teaches at the Nansen Academy. Astrid also has duties related to the day-to-day operations of the center and is deputy to the general manager. Previously, she worked as a university lecturer, including at the American University of Beirut. Astrid has a Masters in French from the University of Oslo, where she also studied Middle Eastern studies, and she has a second master’s degree in intercultural communication from France.

Norunn Grande

Norunn is special advisor at the NCPD. She develops training courses and materials, including handbooks and reports , facilitates dialogue, holds lectures and provides training in Norway and internationally. Norunn Grande has for many years provided trainings and professional support in dialogue and conflict transformation in Afghanistan. She has also worked with diaspora communities in Norway. Previously she worked as an adviser to the Norwegian National Commission for UNESCO , as a lecturer and ass. headmaster at Follo Folkehøgskole, and as Director at the Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue 2010-2012 and Norwegian Peace Center (2001-2010). Norunn holds a master's degree in political science.

Christiane Seehausen

Christiane is a senior adviser and responsible for the center's dialogue work. Over many years she has developed and implemented dialogue processes and trainings in Europe, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. She previously worked for several years in Nicaragua, and thereafter was the director of the municipal integration center for refugees in Norway. Christiane is a trained nurse with a bachelor's degree in multicultural understanding. She has also studied organizational leadership, pedagogy, coaching and developmental analyses.

Henrik Jarholm

Henrik is our communications advisor. His longest earlier tenure was with the communications agency PKOM. There he delivered content to the EU's cooperation program Interreg for the Ministry of Local Government and Modernization. He also has experience working with development projects, with agricultural issues in Brazil, as well as with regional development in the Faroe Islands through Nordic Atlantic Cooperation. Henrik holds a master's degree in social anthropology from the University of Oslo, has conducted fieldwork on development assistance and forest conservation in Indonesia, and is a trained teacher in social studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Kathrin Skjåk Teigum

Kathrin is responsible for the center’s strategic work focused on children and youth. She also teaches students using the center’s dialogical pedagogy. Previously, she has worked as a teacher in Stryn, Tydal, Longyearbyen, and Gausdal, as well as a deputy principal in Lillehammer. She has also taught pedagogy at the teacher education program in Hamar (HiNN). Kathrin is a qualified general education teacher with additional training in mentoring, and she holds a master’s degree in ability and empowerment from Volda University College.

Harald Aksnes Karmhus

Harald works with education, and teaches topics such as dialogue, democracy, and freedom of speech. His experience lies mostly in politics and political administration. Harald has worked in the political secretariat of Trøndelag Municipality. He has also worked in the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg, and was a trainee at the Norwegian Embassy in Sarajevo. Harald has a master’s degree in European studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, where his studies focused on political parties on the far left and far right. He has also studied pedagogy at the same university.

Marius Haavind

Marius Haavind works as a Dembra advisor, with responsibility for the Innlandet region. At the center, he guides schools in their efforts to prevent exclusion and undemocratic attitudes. He also teaches students as part of the center's educational programs. Marius has worked as a high school teacher and as a university lecturer in pedagogy at HiNN. He holds a master’s degree in history from the University of Oslo, with a focus on jew-hatred and democracy.

Trine Christensen

Trine works as a dialogue advisor at the NCPD. She has worked as a college lecturer at the Norwegian Defense College, where she taught cultural understanding and gender issues in military operations. Trine has worked at the Danish Embassy in Ghana and conducted fieldwork in Liberia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Trine holds a bachelor's degree in social anthropology and a master's degree in peace and conflict studies from the University of Oslo.

Alfredo Zamudio

Alfredo Zamudio is mission director for the center´s work in Chile. Alfredo is originally from Chile and has lived in Norway since 1976. From 2016 until 2022 he was the director for the Nansen Center. He has an extensive experience from humanitarian and human rights work, from positions such as director for the Internal Displacement Monitoring Center in Geneva, country director for the Norwegian Refugee Council in Timor-Leste and camp coordinator in Darfur, Sudan. He has also worked with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and with the Norwegian Red Cross in Colombia. In 2010 he was awarded the Order of Timor-Leste by president José Ramos-Horta, for his contribution to the humanitarian response to the country. Alfredo holds a master's degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
