Jane is a trained anthropologist, she comes from a position as program manager in the organization International Children's Solidarity. Jane has worked with Latin America for two decades, focusing on Guatemala, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Peru, and Colombia. She has worked on social change, democracy, and participation. The focus has been on the rights of indigenous peoples, women's rights, and children's rights to participation and involvement. Jane has worked with peace education, conflict understanding, and conflict transformation.

Astrid works with dialogue processes and trainings, she facilitates dialogues, holds workshops and coordinates events. She also teaches at the Nansen Academy. Astrid also has duties related to the day-to-day operations of the center and is deputy to the general manager. Previously, she worked as a university lecturer, including at the American University of Beirut. Astrid has a Masters in French from the University of Oslo, where she also studied Middle Eastern studies, and she has a second master’s degree in intercultural communication from France.

Norunn is special advisor at the NCPD. She develops training courses and materials, including handbooks and reports , facilitates dialogue, holds lectures and provides training in Norway and internationally. Norunn Grande has for many years provided trainings and professional support in dialogue and conflict transformation in Afghanistan. She has also worked with diaspora communities in Norway. Previously she worked as an adviser to the Norwegian National Commission for UNESCO , as a lecturer and ass. headmaster at Follo Folkehøgskole, and as Director at the Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue 2010-2012 and Norwegian Peace Center (2001-2010). Norunn holds a master's degree in political science.
Field of work and experience
Christiane is a senior adviser and responsible for the center's dialogue work. Over many years she has developed and implemented dialogue processes and trainings in Europe, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. She previously worked for several years in Nicaragua, and thereafter was the director of the municipal integration center for refugees in Norway. Christiane is a trained nurse with a bachelor's degree in multicultural understanding. She has also studied organizational leadership, pedagogy, coaching and developmental analyses.
