Alfredo Zamudio served as Director of the Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue from 2016 to 2022. From 2019 to 2025, he led the Nansen Center’s work in Chile. Originally from Chile, he has lived in Norway since 1976. He has extensive experience in humanitarian response, human rights policy, and dialogue processes, having held positions such as Director of the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) in Geneva, Country Director for the Norwegian Refugee Council in Timor-Leste, and Camp Coordinator in Darfur, Sudan. He has also worked with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Norwegian Red Cross in Colombia. In 2010, he was awarded the Order of Timor-Leste by President José Ramos-Horta in recognition of his contributions to the country’s humanitarian response. In 2024, he received Fundación Aitue’s Interculturality Award in recognition of his work promoting intercultural dialogue in Chile. Alfredo holds a master’s degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and is currently a Visiting Scholar at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Agata is NCPD's associate in Poland. She is an experienced facilitator, trainer, and supervisor with a background in social sciences and social research. She runs Facilitation Support (Pogotowie Facylitacyjne), a facilitation practice working across various sectors, and co-founded Pole Dialogu Foundation, which focuses on civic participation and democratic dialogue. For over a decade, Agata has been collaborating with civil society organizations, public institutions, and grassroots initiatives in Poland and across Europe. She specializes in designing and conducting participatory processes and creating spaces for meaningful conversations that help achieve shared goals. She has facilitated numerous public dialogues and trained hundreds of participants in dialogue and facilitation skills.
