Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue organizes shorter workshops on a range of topics \u2013 what they all have in common is that they are built on dialogical principles and methods.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t

Dialogue Workshops<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a dialogue workshop, we work on specific topics in either large or small groups. Unlike our training courses, which offer an in-depth exploration of the dialogue method, a workshop provides a “taste” of our approach and can be delivered over a shorter period of time.<\/p>\n

A dialogue workshop can be an excellent opportunity to explore a particular topic, advance a project, or contribute to a broader initiative. All of our workshops are tailored in close collaboration with the client. Typically, our workshops include four main components: a thematic introduction, dialogue exercises, group activities, and collective reflection.<\/p>\n

Workshops can be conducted in Norwegian, English, German, Spanish, and French. Costs depend on the content, location, duration, and number of participants.<\/p>\n

Dialogue training for young muslim leaders<\/h2>
\n

Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue<\/strong>\u00a0organized a dialogue workshop for 40 young people from various mosques in Eastern Norway. The workshop was part of a leadership training program organized by the Muslim Dialogue Network<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

One of the workshop’s objectives was to strengthen the sense of community among the participants and provide an opportunity for them to get to know themselves and each other better. The program was based on the Center’s dialogue methodology, but was specifically tailored to reflect and engage with the experiences of young Muslims living in Norway today.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>Read more<\/a>\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t

The Youth Army Ant Trail: A Conversation for a New Millennium<\/h2>
\n

Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue<\/strong> is participating in The Youth Army Ant Trail (Ungdommens h\u00e6rpil)<\/strong>, the National Jubilee 2030\u2019s youth initiative. In collaboration with artists and craftspeople, the Center has conducted workshops across Norway focusing on dialogue and freedom of expression.<\/p>\n

The aim of the project is to engage young people in their local communities and provide a safe space for exchanging views, reflection, and creativity. Dialogue and Reconciliation in Araucan\u00eda, Chile.<\/h2>

Dialogue and Reconciliation in Araucan\u00eda, Chile<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since 2019, the Nansen Peace Center<\/strong> has been working to strengthen local capacities and create spaces for dialogue and reconciliation in Chile. In the Araucan\u00eda region of southern Chile, we have partnered with seven universities to facilitate a series of dialogue workshops aimed at fostering trust and constructive dialogue between the Indigenous Mapuche<\/strong> people and the broader population.<\/p>\n

These conversations have brought together Indigenous leaders, forest owners, large-scale farmers, students, and many others who have been affected by deeply divisive conflicts. By creating safe and structured spaces for dialogue, the workshops have enabled participants to share experiences, build mutual understanding, and explore pathways toward more peaceful and inclusive relationships.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>Read more<\/a>\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t
